The Next Generation Deserves

A just and peaceful world where all human being live their life with dignity where all needs are fulfilled, where there is happiness and joy, where everyone feels safe and loved. Ashana Trust strives to create that world by lovingly reaching out to our youth with ideas of equality and justice, compassion and love.

Programmes That Have Helped Transform Lives

Mental Health Awareness

We reach out to youth, children and women equipping them with knowledge and skills to take responsibility of their own mental health through games and exercise based module. In the years 2023 and 2024 we reached out to nearly 5000 participants.

Legal Aid and Guidance

Our legal aid centre provides counselling, legal aid and support to distressed women. In 2023 and 2024 we provided the legal aid to 150 women and through them to their families.

Public Distribution System and Civic Amenities

We have encouraged community leaders and volunteers to do local advocacy with the municipality for better health care, better education, better infrastructure and access to entitlements. Monitoring of government systems in the key responsibility of all citizens in a democracy. Our aim is to equip women to play that role.

Capacity Building

Women must be equipped with skills to horne their skills, learn communication, build confidence, be knowledgeable, gain insights and acquire self reflection skills. Women must understand their responsibilities towards themselves first to be able to play a significant and crucial role in the development of the society.
